Smart detection
Target-species detection for defined monitoring areas.
A developing field system designed to detect selected wildlife, track activity and support targeted deterrent responses — professionally deployed and managed by Borderlands.
Discuss a potential siteDark Mantis is being developed to combine camera-based wildlife detection, automated camera tracking, configurable deterrent actions and remote oversight for suitable managed sites.
The technology remains a working prototype. Features, reliability and field performance will be validated before any commercial launch.
Target-species detection for defined monitoring areas.
Camera movement intended to follow selected wildlife activity.
Configurable responses subject to testing, species, site and law.
The planned commercial model is a managed subscription, not a hardware sale. Borderlands would retain ownership of the equipment, install it at an agreed site, configure it and manage the ongoing service.
Dark Mantis is still undergoing engineering, testing and field validation. This page describes intended capabilities and a proposed service model; it is not an offer to install a finished product today.
If you manage a property or commercial site where recurring wildlife activity is a problem, we’re happy to discuss the use case.
